How To Retrieve Your Accidentally Deleted File Types From Various Drives or Disks

What once used to be a pain in the back now turns out to be a simple task, i believe that anyone of you by mistake have deleted a picture or photo from your PC, Flash Drive, camera or any other removable disk at least once in your life. But now you can restore those accidentally deleted photos even from your camera’s memory stick, and i bet you wonder how.
Besides Windows’ Recycle Bin where deleted files are sent when unnecessary files are disposed of, there are some other ways to recover deleted files. But what happens if you delete a file from a mapped drive, Flash Drive or external USB drives? Now you do not have a Recyle Bin to look into an retrieve your file, but as i said there is another way to recover deleted files.
Use Recuva to retrieve your fileThese file recovery ways are very simple and in fact at some point you can say that everything is like a walk in the park, so restore your File using Recuva. This small software is easy to use, the only thing that you gonna have to pay attention to, is not to install that crap unnecessary Yahoo toolbar.
Now all that remains is to launch the Recuva wizard and start the process of recovering those accidentally deleted files, and in the same time hoping that you have avoided the installation of that completely unnecessary toolbar. Recuva allows you to opt for a specific file type to narrow the search and save a lot of time in the process, in this way you can find what you are looking for extremely easy.
At this point you have to specify where the file was located, since the program will be looking for it there, so for example if you have deleted it from your Flash Drive, there is where you should be looking for it. Anyway you can opt for a Deep Scan but for a first scan we recommend the Quick Scan as usually this is enough as you can always go back and run a Deep Scan if necessary.
All the pictures accidentally erased from your memory stick, camera SD card, Flash Drives or whatever drive you searched are going to be retrieved, so looks like those files can not hide anymore from you. To speed the process furthermore you can switch to advanced view if you know when the file was modified or created, in this way you won’t have to search through so many files. Right-click on any file and opt to Recover it, and then save the file wherever you want, isn’t that cool? I bet it is.
Download Recuva from HERE.
The second solution is to Recover your File using DiskDiggerAs an alternative to Recuva, try the totally free version of DiskDigger, also you can try the portable version of the application from HERE. If Recuva fails to complete the job you can always try DiskDigger which trully is a great program, we have tested both of them and found out that neither of them will always find the same files, so it is recommended to keep them both.
What makes DiskDigger really great is the fact that it’s not requiring installation, so proceed by choosing the drive you want to start recovering from. Just as in Recuva case you can choose to run a Deep Scan or a Really Deep Scan, but you probably would want to try the first one as we had a better luck with the regular scan, rather than with the more deeper one. You will be able to select exactly which file types you look for that if you choose the dig deeper, but as we said you should be using the normal scan first.
As soon as the program has come up with the results, you can see a preview on the right previously by clicking on the items on the left-hand side, so select one or more files and restore them whenever you want. All that remains now it to wish you the best of luck when trying to recover your accidentally deleted file types.
