When you got to go, you got to go! But what if the surroundings stay clean in the same time? That’s what the British designers of the following concept thought of when they created the urinal that features a display.

Yes, you read it right, it’s an urinal that has a display. But wait, there’s more: a snowmobile game is running on the aforementioned display. An unusual snowmobile game.

Controlled using movement sensors, you will have to ride a snowmobile down the hill. A LED placed in the upper side of the urinal detects movement and indicates where the snowmobile will go. The goal of the game, the designers say, is to help the “user” aim better, thus he won’t miss the toilet.

But when will we see this kind of displays in the public toilets everywhere? I don’t know. I don’t even know if it ever sees the sunlight. The unusual device was tested so far in a pub in Cambridge, but it wasn’t announced if other Brit drinkers will be able to test their marksman skills.

Anyway, one thing is sure; the men will now spend more time in the public bathrooms. Well, not as much as the women usually do, but it will sure be an increase in the time men spent in bathrooms. The 12-inch display should do it and if in the past you caught someone looking at your… at what you do in front of the urinal and you didn’t know what he wants to see, now you will be sure that he’s looking at your score.

I personally love the idea and I would like to test my skills on on of these toilets. Not that I would miss the urinal or something, but I would sure have a tendency to drink more just to return to the toilet and improve my score.

Talking about score, it wasn’t mentioned if a highscores list was included in the project, but it would be fun to have one, too. If you are one of a pub’s regulars, than everybody should know that your aiming is good, too.
