EA has released a new trailer for the upcoming Mass Effect 3 game. The developer and publisher will release the game in the first quarter of 2012 and in order to be more exact, the Mass Effect 3 release date is March 6th in North America, March 8th in Australia, March 9th in Europe, and March 15th in Japan.

The new Mass Effect 3 trailer is pretty cool and it was created to show how the game will be compatible with the Microsoft Kinect. At the end of the trailer, EA has confirmed the Mass Effect 3 demo release date: February 14th. The demo will be first made available for Battlefield 3 owners who bought the game for PC, Xbox 360 or PS3.

The demo has been announced just before the Battlefield 3 release date last year, and many fans have been excited. Lots of folks were questioning EA’s decision to release a demo before the game’s full launch, but the publisher said that it likes to do things differently than “others,” probably referring to Activision.

In Mass Effect 3, gamers will once again be engaged in a galactic war when Earth has fallen into the wrong hands. Although the enemy looks like it cannot be stopped, you take the role of Commander Shepard and you will have to make all the calls. This war will circle around you and your decisions.

The story is amazing and very interactive as EA has worked a lot on this game. If before you were the impression that the story is too linear and your decisions don’t count (e.g. Battlefield 3), in Mass Effect 3 all your decisions count and they will have serious effects on the story as Earth’s fate is in your hands as well the one of your friends.

Speaking of you friends, Commander Shepard will lead a team made of fantastic soldiers who will follow you to hell and beyond. Flanking is a good tactic to destroy your enemies so take this into consideration when giving orders. You can assault your foes from a distance and cover your team-mates. You can also engage in melee attacks using the omniblade.
