The most recent and huge Xbox Live Dashboard update was hiding an incredibly annoying flaw that made black hues turn into gray. The bug in the firmware was somehow causing videos to play in poor RGB color, and everything turned into washed out colors. Well, Major Nelson announced that Microsoft is currently pushing a mandatory update to all users that will fix the problems.
All users with a Xbox 360 will have to install the latest system update in order to fix the color issues which, like said, were caused by the latest Xbox Live Dashboard update. Major Nelson said that the users will immediately notice that the problems are gone because the colors will become vivid once again.
The Xbox Live Director of Programming added that this update proves that Microsoft is dedicated to providing the best Xbox Live user experience. Major Nelson also confirmed that the company’s partners are currently applying this update to their applications, and that they will roll it out in the “coming months.”
We remind you that a lot of users have lashed out at Microsoft for ruining the Xbox Live Dashboard, and many of them warned other users not to upgrade at that time. Instead they said that their fellow Xbox 360 should wait for a fix. Well, there’s no fun if you don’t play online, and now the problems are gone.
Star your Xbox 360, download and install the update, and let us know if everything is fine now!
